I can't open ZipIt

In order to be able to use ZipIt, you will need to send it through Stuffit Expander first. Stuffit Expander is available from:

ftp://mirrors.aol.com/pub/info-mac/cmp/stuffit-expander-401.bin

Once you've downloaded that, drag and drop ZipIt onto the Stuffit Expander icon, and, when it's done, you should be able to use ZipIt.

If Stuffit Expander doesn't open the copy of ZipIt that you have, you may need to re-download Zipit from a different site. Try downloading ZipIt from the Info-Mac archive instead of from the ZipIt web site. You may still need to drop the resulting file onto Stuffit Expander in order to use it.

One other thing to check is to ensure that you're using the latest version of your browser when downloading ZipIt. Sometimes old browsers may have trouble with the download process.
